Tirta Empul
Tirta Empul is a Hindu holy place located in Tampak Siring, Gianyar Regency, Bali. This place is famous as Tirta Empul Temple which has a sacred pond that is considered to have healing power and purity.
Tirta Empul Temple was built in the 10th century by King Warmadewa and in the 16th century was renewed by King Dalem Waturenggong. This temple consists of three parts, namely jaba pura (outer courtyard), jaba tengan (middle yard), and viscera (inner courtyard). The most famous part of this temple is the sacred pond called Tirta Empul which is believed to have healing power and purity.
Tegenungan Waterfall
